1 Tim 4:16 (NKJV) "16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."

When you continue in the Word of reading, studying, and living it, it will save you and those who hear it from you. It is important that you stay in it, not only by knowing it but by living it out in front of people.  I with a sad heart have to discontinue writing daily on this board due to other time consuming obligation.  I started it as a project and enjoyed putting God's word out there in another forum that I have not yet done.  I see that it has reached many people and I hope that through reading God's word daily that it has blessed you.  Please continue in the Word in some form or fashion and enjoy the Many Blessings that await you.  God loves you all My prayers are with all of you.

Luke 22:42 (NKJV) "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."

This is a great verse to live by.  So many times we find ourselves in positions that require us to have this attitude.  We say we love and trust the Lord, but we still demand our own way, and often times reject truth due to us wanting our will to be done.  There are times we can not alter the course of life, but we still refuse to accept that God's will to be done.  Trusting and Loving God is to accept His will even if we don't like it, remember Jesus said "if its your will, take this cup from me; nevertheless..." There are great and Many Blessings in trusting God and accepting things although we don't like or want it.

Eccl 12:1 (NKJV) "1 Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come..."

Now is the time to start and build on your relationship with God.  There is going to come a time when we become older and endure struggles, and that is when we try to find God, we will be saved then but we won't have that relationship to draw on the peace and comfort we know we have.  Build your relationship now so when that time comes you will know that all things are working together for the good due to the fact that you love God and you fulfilled your purpose.  There comes a time when God will be getting ready to call us home and we want to enjoy that home going awaiting with our families.  Some ignore God and when it comes to that point they are filled with so much fear and stress that there is no happiness and enjoyment.  Going home to be with the Lord is one of the Greatest of His Many Blessings, remember Him now.

Prov 3:6 (KJV) "6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Yesterday we looked at trusting God and not relying on our own understanding, and when we trust God we have to do as this verse instructs us.  In ALL our ways meaning in whatever we do and in everything we do consult God, acknowledge God.  When we acknowledge God He will direct our path, meaning guiding us and leading us.  Sometimes we don't acknowledge Him and we find ourselves on a path that we don't like then we try to change the path.  Let us think about God in all we do rather it be in thought or action and allow Him to direct our path which has Many Blessings on it.

Prov 3:5 (KJV) "5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding"

Sometimes in life we don't understand why things happen the way they do, we don't understand some of the situations we find ourselves or others in.  When we don't understand we try to find out why so we can put some understanding to our life.  In this verse we are told with ALL your heart trust God, and don't rely, look, or lean on your understanding.  We don't have to understand and we will not understand everything, but we certainly can trust that He will see us through and save us.  Trust God in everything and walk with Him and you will experience Many Blessings!

2 Cor 1:4 (NKJV) "4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble..."

Talking about paying it forward, God comforts us in all our tribulations, so if you are experiencing a rough time at the moment pray and tell God you need Him and His comfort and tell Him that His Word says you will comfort me.  God is a God who doesn't lie and you will find comfort, by opening up to God and asking for His guidance and help.  Once you receive that comfort look for an opportunity to pass it along to someone else.  Tell someone else I asked God in my life and asked to be comforted and He did it, and let them know that the same comfort is available to them as well.  This is a very good way to receive Many Blessings and pass on Many Blessings.  God loves you be encouraged!

Gen 32:26 (KJV) "26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me."

In reading Gen 32:24-30 we see the story of Jacob wrestling with an angel of the Lord.  In this encounter the angel says, "let me go" and Jacob's reply was, "I will not let thee go, except thou bless me".  In our life we wrestle and struggle with God and finding and doing His will, but we need to be like Jacob and hold on to God and His ways and tell ourselves, "I won't let go until I'm blessed".  Sometimes it takes great pain to hold on to God and His ways and deny self, but hold on to God and all His ways and in the end you will share in the Many Blessings God has for you.  Hold on and don't let go!

Matt 6:13 (KJV) "...For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen"

Here we see the close of the Lord's Prayer, and again as the prayer opened with praise to God it closes with praise to God.  Our daily life should open up with a praise to God and close with a praise to God.  As I visit many people and ask them do they pray I often hear either, I pray every morning or I hear, I pray every night.  God wants us to pray and praise Him day and night.  I feel that if we learn to live out the prayer as we went through the past few days instead of saying it, our lives will be blessed.  God has given us a blueprint of prayer along with daily living, we should embrace it and live it out.  If we live this not only will you be blessed but your family and those around you will share in Many Blessings.

Matt 6:13 (KJV) "13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:.."

Each day we are dependent upon God's direction in life.  Here we see that we are asking God not to lead us into temptation, and the fact is He won't.  We find ourselves into temptation due to our own lust and desires, and we chose the path of temptation.  If we start our day off with a prayer of "God lead me not into temptation and deliver me from evil", He wont take us down that path and if temptation comes He will deliver you by providing an alternate path.   We need to understand God provides a path and it is up to us to follow that path and walk on it, each day and moment we are presented a choice to walk with God or walk our own path.  If we choose to walk with God we will experience the Many Blessings He has for us.

Matt 6:12 (KJV) "12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors."

As we go through the Lord's prayer and understand we can live it and not just say it today we see forgiveness.   This simple verse brings great meaning, Lord forgive me as I forgive those who offended me.  Sometimes we say we have forgiven others with words but with our actions we hold it against them.  If we really don't forgive then we are asking God to not really forgive us, remember it is saying forgive me as I forgive. Do you truly forgive people?  Sometimes bitterness and anger sets in and we are quick to be angry with a certain person again because we are still holding hard feelings against them.  We need to let it go and forgive and in doing that we receive one of God's Many Blessings of forgiveness.

Matt 6:11 (NKJV) "11 Give us this day our daily bread."

Our daily bread, notice it doesn't say weekly bread.  Many times we only get our bibles out on Sundays and read, which would be weekly bread.  God intends for us to be fed daily, and in this model prayer we are to ask God for direction in reading His word daily for food, encouragement, and direction.  When you receive your daily word meditate on it throughout the day, concentrate on living it daily.  For example for now on everyday ask yourself have I been in God's word to be fed today, and when you read it live it out that day and every other day.  As we have seen so far in living the Lord's prayer. 1. praise Him in the morning 2. let your words and actions today be as your are in heaven. 3. Read daily to be fed to live out God's instruction.  Don't say the Lord's prayer our of repetition, but apply it to your life and live it and experience the Many Blessings that come with it.

Matt 6:10 (NKJV) "10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven."

In keeping with turning the Lords prayer into a lifestyle instead of a quote, we so far learned to wake up and give God praise to start our day.  The second step is to say Lord allow your ways in heaven to be done through me today.  We should make it a point to live on earth as if we are in heaven already.  The way we act towards people and the way we talk to or about someone should be done with a heavenly mindset, and done as if we are in heaven.  We picture heaven as peaceful, lovely, and calm, yet sometimes here on earth we are mean, argumentative, and negative.  Which to me is the opposite of what heaven seems like.  Live and treat people today as you are already in heaven.  I guarantee you will see a difference in your life, living God's word brings  Many Blessings.

Matt 6:9 (KJV) "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name."

I would like to spend the next few days going through the Lords Prayer as I believe it is a prayer to live and not just to recite as it often is.  In the first line we see it says, Our Father which is in heaven, hallowed be your name.  This is giving God due respect, honor, and praise.  the bible tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people.  I want to challenge you when you wake up in the morning the first thing you should do is give God respect and honor.  Praise Him first thing in the morning and allow Him to start your day off with Him being close to you.  We often start the day and once our troubles begin we start to pray, start the day off with a positive action.  Drawing close to God when you wake up is a great way to start you day off with Many Blessings.

1 Peter 5:10 (NKJV) "But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."

Here we see that as we go through life we will have to endure some suffering.  We all can identify with going through some struggles rather it be relationships, financial hardships, or some physical trials.  We all will encounter them, instead of looking at them as something that is going to defeat us we can read this verse with understanding that suffering times will help you.  "after you have suffered a while" God will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us.  Know this when you are suffering the next time know that God loves you and He is with you and working on you to make you better.  Trust Him and walk with Him you will see.  Many Blessings to you.

Prov 10:1 (NKJV) "1 The Proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a glad father..."

Happy Fathers day to all you dads.  We see a simple verse here that says a wise son makes the father glad.  Although we take this day to honor dads I like to take it a step further and apply this day to all of us so that we all could live wise and exercise wisdom so that we can make our Heavenly Father glad.  Imagine the smile you can put on God's face by the way you live, we should make it a point not just to say I honor you Father God, but show it with your actions and by the way you live.  Many Blessings to all of you.

Acts 17:11 (NKJV) "11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. "

We see here a group of people that were "more fair-minded" or noble, or open minded.  Why was that?  They received the word with the readiness to live it out.  Sometimes we quote scriptures, but God wants us to live what it says not just talk about what it says.  Not only did they receive the scriptures with the willingness to live it, but when ever they heard the word they searched the scriptures daily to see if the truth was said.  When ever we hear someone talk about the bible we should do two things.  First be ready to live it, and secondly search the bible daily to see if that is true or not.  If you read with this approach you will experience God's Many Blessings for you.

Luke 24:45 (KJV) "45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures"

This is probably one of my favorite scriptures.  In reading this verse we know that we can not understand the wonderful things of God unless we stop where we are in life and ask Jesus in our life. We try to understand, but sometimes we are left struggling trying to see the bible as it is.  Once we ask Him in our life  and begin to look through the scriptures with readiness of living what we read we know that God will open our understanding to know the scriptures.  We spend to much time trying to understand it without asking God to show us.  Once we have Jesus in our life and we are ready to walk in His way He will give us all kinds of understanding.  Praise God for His Many Blessings.

Matt 11:29 (KJV) "29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

Taking the yoke, a yoke is a wooden contraptions that brings two oxen together as one so where one goes so does the other.  Jesus is asking that we bond with Him to the point that wherever He goes we go with Him.  Not only is He saying take this yoke and go where He goes, but we are instructed to learn from Him.  We often times try to learn from friends, family, television, or anything else, but God wants us to be one with Him and learn of Him and from Him.  When is the last time you sat down with Jesus and asked Him to teach you though His word?  In doing this He promises us that we will find rest unto our soul.  Sometimes that rest unto your soul is one of the Many Blessings that is waiting for you.

Matt 5:6 (NKJV) "6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled"

If we truly hunger and thirst for God and His ways we will be filled.  This verse is a promise, to many times we say "we want to know God and His Word, but we can't understand it".  Yet here we are told if you actually hunger and thirst for a new way of living you will be filled.  We have to fulfill the hunger and thirsting by living what we read instead of having a relationship that is based on just showing up for church.  To hunger and thirst is to seek God with your heart and ask Him how is it he wants you to live for Him.  To hunger and thirst is the beginning of experiencing all that God has for you, because you will be filled.  Fulfil that huger and thirst by getting in the Word and searching His ways of living and building your actions based up on His Word.  As you are filled you will be blessed and you will be passing many blessings along to those you come in contact with.  Many blessings to you and enjoy.

Prov 16:24 (NKJV) "24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones."

There are times we need to sit back and look at the words that we are offering up to people.  I have seen that out of frustration and stress we often take it out on the ones that are closes to us.  We should keep our words to our loved ones, friends, or anyone else we talk to as this verse states, "pleasant".  Our words have the power to be sweet to the soul and health of those close to us.  If we use words that are not pleasant then we are destructive to those around us.  Let us make it a point to treat those around us with pleasant words to be pleasing and helpful to the souls and health of others.  Choose your words wisely and Many Blessings to you.

Prov 10:17 (NKJV) "17 He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray."

We  have options when it comes to listening to people.  We sometimes don't want to hear what others try to say to help us or give us instructions, and we can have a tendency to push away correction.  In pushing away correction, especially correction from God will sometimes according to this verse lead us astray.  But if we are ones who keeps the God given instructions we will develop a good way in life.  There are times if we push away others instructions it could be that we are pushing away what God is trying to give us through someone else.  Don't let your pride stand in the way of receiving instructions in order stay on path.  If you receive instructions or corrections pray about it, ask God about it maybe it is Him who sent it to bless you.  He wants you to be blessed and stay on a good path of life where there are Many Blessings for you.

Psalms 119:105 (NKJV) "105 Your word is a lamp to my feetAnd a light to my path."

God's Word is a lamp or light unto our path of life.  Sometimes we take the wrong path and we can't seem to see where we are going.  We see here that if we use God's Word to guide us and lead us we will always be stepping in the right direction.  So many times we get off the path due to us not going by God's word, but we often walk where our emotions and peers take us.  Once we see we don't like where we are going we begin to pray and be in search of God.  Let's avoid going the wrong way and start today by putting God's Word as our guide and light unto our path.  We will be glad we did, and I pray that you will experience God's Many Blessings

Psalms 27:10 (NKJV) "10 When my father and my mother forsake me,Then the Lord will take care of me.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who have had to grow up without either a mom or dad for one reason or another.  Sometimes as people hit their end stage of life and reflection of childhood begins to replay the hurts of their parents start to surface.  Sometimes kids can find themselves in situations that feel like they don't have parents or feel left out in the cold to raise themselves.  God knows each and every one who is out there struggling.  In this verse He wants you to know that He is with you and He will take care of you.  Draw close to Him now to begin to heal the hurt that might be in your heart.  God loves you and wants to take care of you, give Him your heart with your pain and He will be with you and you will experience all the Many Blessings He has for you.

Eccl 7:3 (NKJV) "3 Sorrow is better than laughter,For by a sad countenance the heart is made better."

Whenever we have a moment in our life that brings hurt and pain sometimes within that moment it is an opportunity for our heart to be made better.  A sad heart has a refining moment within our heart and lives.  Sometimes through the sad times we start praying more or really start to find God, then we start reflecting on our own life and those around us.  Sometimes if a moments hits us hard we start to embrace family and friends instead of taking days with our loved one for granted.  We all will experience hard times so when we do let's be refined to be better and not bitter.  Let the moment help you and use it to draw closer to God, you will enjoy your Many Blessings.

Matt 10:32 (NKJV) "32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven."

This is probably one of the most basic verses we could read but one that is hard for many to do.  God loves us so much that He paid the price and all He wants for us to do is tell someone that God loves us and we believe.  In some people who start praying and accepting God's will late in life sometimes have a hard time telling family members and friends that they have found a relationship with God. When ever one passes away the main question I hear is, "did they know the Lord?"  Set your friends and family at ease now by accepting Jesus in your life and tell someone.  If you tell someone you know and love Jesus, He then will tell the father who you are.  Confess Jesus to someone today, and experience His Many Blessings.

Gal 6:9 (NKJV) "9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."

Have you ever gave you best effort and found yourself thinking that no one has taken notice, or your efforts were not effective.  Sometimes in caring for a loved one it can be overwhelming especially if they have developed dementia, or they have become hard to please.  Sometimes with a boss or even in a marriage, or in raising kids it seems that no matter how hard you try it is never good enough.  If you find yourself in this position read this verse again, and don't get tired in doing whats right and good.  In God's timing you will reap the blessing of your hard work, don't give up before your blessing arrives.  Keep praying and seeking the Lord for help you will be glad you did.  Many Blessings to you.

Heb 11:1 (NKJV) "1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Faith is something that confuses so many.  Faith is the substance of what you hope for,  what is it your hoping for?  Life after death with Jesus, peace, safety, mercy, and grace.  Sometimes we hope that our families have peace and love, and a peaceful way of life for our children.  The second part of faith is, it's the evidence of things not seen.  So many times we don't want to believe it until we see it.  God's Word wants you to have faith even though you can't see it yet or sometimes understand it, faith says I know God will do it.  Keep praying and stay close to God and have faith, remember it is the things not seen.  Keep praying and hoping and experience the God given peace of having faith.  Many blessings to you.

Matt 6:33 (NKJV) "33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

Here is a great verse to unlock everything that we need in life.  Seek God first and His ways and He will add everything else we need.  So many times we try to seek for everything on our own and say a prayer every so often to get what we want.  There are times when we try to find our own way in life then we say, once I get on my feet then I will find time for God and church.  Here we see we are to seek God and all His ways FIRST and He will give us everything else.  Don't just seek Him in prayer, but seek His ways of living and how to act, it is part of seeking His righteousness.  Once you start to seek God and all His ways you will see how everything else will fall into place.  Many Blessings to you.

Heb 12:14 (NKJV) "14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness"

Here is a simple instructional verse for us to include in our lives.  "Pursue peace with all people", sometimes we pursue peace with ones that we like or those closest to us.  In being part of a lot of family gatherings I see times where there is always room for us to be seeking peace with others.  Sometimes it will require us to swallow our pride and try to bring peace to broken relationships.  Not only are we to pursue peace but pursue a life of holiness.  Living holy is not talking about and criticizing people because of who they are or what they do.  In looking for peace and living holy causes you to forgive and look for nice things to say.  This is what the Lord requires us to do, don't allow time to go bye then when you look back you wish you had made things better.  Start the pursuit of peace with ALL people today and a life of holiness as well.  Many Blessings to you.
